Announcement from CCN
January 17, 2012

To all CCN Students, Parents, and Agencies,

Cross Cultural Networks is proud of our network of schools. As you may know, there
are thousands of American Private schools that accept international students. However, we
believe that our network is special because not only are our schools excellent, but also they
meet our standards. Our schools around the United States have high ethical standards, and
require students to behave properly in and out of school. In fact, our member schools have
excellent reputations among colleges because they educate a student's mind and attitude.

This letter is meant to serve as a guide to all students, their parents, and our agencies.
When a CCN student attends a member school in the United States, the student must behave
in a mature and honest way. Unfortunately, there have been reports of poor attitudes or
unethical behavior this year. I must remind our students that when they attend our Private
School Program, they must obey the rules of their school.

They must refrain from:
• Plaigiarism
• Lying/dishonesty
• Cheating on assignments or examinations
• Disobeying teachers or homestay parents
• General misbehavior

Overall, our students have been behaving well at all schools. This letter is meant to be
a reminder that good behavior must continue. Breaking school rules will result in punishment
from that school. Please instruct your students to continue to follow the guidance of their
teachers and homestay parents.

In addition, I understand that many students use "Social Networking" resources, such
as Facebook. I am informing you that in recent years, many schools have begun to monitor
their student's behavior online. To all students: please make sure that your Facebook, etc.
accounts do NOT contain anything inappropriate or insenitive. In the past, students have
gotten into trouble because of something shown or written online.

I appreciate your attention in this matter. We value our schools because they produce
graduates who are well-educated and well-behaved. This is the balance that American
colleges look for, especially in International students. Please follow the guidance of your
schools, at all times.

Sincerely,

Daniel Spillane
