In every state CCN operates, there is a Local Coordinator who acts as a mentor and, in some cases, as a legal guardian for CCN students. From a student’s first step off the plane to graduation day, the Local Coordinator will be there for support and encouragement.
The Local Coordinator holds monthly meetings to monitor the student’s academic progress and social development. Monthly reports, pictures, and report cards are posted to CCN Club (CCN’s online community) and sent home to parents to keep them aware of everything happening in their child’s life.
All CCN Coordinators are college graduates, and many even work in the very schools the students attend. This makes it convenient for students to meet with and get to know their coordinator. No matter what challenges arise, CCN students can take great comfort knowing they draw on the support and guidance of their coordinator.
